THIS IS OUR STORY
Marian was the first to say: I want to build a mobile home for us and travel the world as a family. Inside of me, Karin, there were a thousand alarm bells going off. Fears in the disguise of questions came up inside of me: How is this possible? What about my work? And what about the children? Can we take them out of school and out of their habitual environment? Are we capable of teaching them ourselves? Can I leave my mother alone for months? How the heck do we finance this journey? And: What about my personal space? Will I go crazy spending such a lot of time close together with my family, with little possibilities to be alone and do my own thing?
But I also knew that these questions were created in my mind in order to stop me from taking a step into the unknown. So the only answer to them was YES. Yes, I can! Yes, we can. Because it is always possible to fulfill our dreams. It does not need to be a journey. It can be herding sheep on a Greek island. It can be resigning your job before you have a new one and taking a long time-out. Or it can be living in harmony with your neighbour. Whatever it is: You can do it. You can break out of the social and mental system you are so used to - and that so often keeps you in a golden cage, at least in rich countries like Switzerland. The more we have, the less courageous we become. But in fact, the only cage is the limitations we put upon ourselves. So live your dream! Not sound asleep, but wide awake.
THIS IS US
I used to be a manager in the energy sector. After some stress related issues, I found my way into spirituality and alternative healing methods. Seeing the tremendous effects of my energy work, I started Into the Now - helping others to get out of their own rat race and getting back their vitality.
I strive to do the things I love most and to spend the major part of my time with my precious ones: my family. I love being in the nature, doing outdoor sports, skiing whenever possible and doing yoga for my inner wellbeing.
Being free in every way and supporting others to become free is my purpose. This is what the name of my company stands for: freiräumen. I started off disliking changes, like reorganizing my girl's room or living somewhere else than in Bern, my beloved home town. Discovering my true self, I slowly lost my fears and attachments. My biggest teachers in this were - and are - my husband and children.
I love every aspect of language - how we use it, what it reveals about us and how we steer our reality with it. I am in constant awe of nature and its endless colours and wonders. I am filled with a deep gratitude for all that is.
If you want something new to enter your life, you first have to make space for it.
Lou is the youngest member of our family. She enjoys playing with her brother and winning in Memory. She loves to ride her bike, to ski and to wake up early - joining her father in his yoga sessions.
Just like her brother, Lou has a strong will and is very sensitive at the same time. She recently decided not to eat meat anymore as she can't follow the logic of raising animals just for killing and eating them.
With his unlimited creativity and imagination, Luca transforms everything into something to play with. He loves to create the most adventurous vehicles with lego, do handicrafts or play soccer with his friends. Playing inside, he does not want to go outside. Once outside, he does not want to come back inside. Out there, water and mud are his preferred elements.
Luca combines a strong will with a soft, empathic and sensitive manner.
